Move Forward
Together
Vermont

In 2024, VOBA participated in the statewide planning process, Move Forward Together Vermont (MFTV), administered by the Vermont Outdoor Recreation Economic Collaborative (VOREC), to identify a 5-year vision for Vermont’s outdoor economy.

VOBA’s work plan for 2025-2030 is centered in the impact areas of climate resilience and equity, innovation and sustainability, and career pathways;

The climate resilience objective aims to collectively strengthen the sustainability, flexibility, and resilience of Vermont’s communities to weather the impacts of climate change.

The equity objective encourages outdoor recreation community members in Vermont to collectively expand opportunities and reduce barriers so that all people feel welcome in Vermont’s outdoors.
