Switchback Spring Trade Show

VOBA and the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development hosted a booth at the June Switchback Spring show in Nashville, TN. BirdieBlue, Hootie Hootie, Thicket Adventure, and Turtle Fur showcased their products to the nearly 1300 attendees, 200 brands, and 300 retailers gathered for educational programming and business meetings. Press Forward PR and joho & co supported the Vermont companies in optimizing face-to-face connections and marketing exposure, resulting in several media shout outs.

VOBA and Pale Morning Media joined a national convening of the State Outdoor Business Alliance Network (SOBAN) encompassing 30 outdoor business alliances in other states for strategic planning on growing the outdoor economy. SOBAN meetings with the Outdoor Industry Association, Confluence of States, Outdoor Foundation, and REI spurred collaboration and innovation.
